Primark announced as record letting for centre:mk

MMX Retail has advised Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper, joint owners of centre:mk, on its recent to letting Primark, which is the single largest letting achieved in Milton Keynes in the last 25 years. Primark is set to open a 93,000 sq ft store, occupying an extension of the former BHS on Silbury Arcade.

With the expansion of the retail mix and introduction of new leisure attractions, Milton Keynes is now one of Britain’s biggest shopping experiences. centre:mk is a stimulating, bustling regional shopping district situated in the heart of Milton Keynes, providing an exciting, dynamic and vibrant mix of retail, dining and civic spaces that link shopping to the rest of the city centre.

centre:mk boasts around 22 million visits per annum and there are over 240 stores, restaurants and cafés, including anchor stores John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, and House of Fraser, as well as a flagship health and beauty store Boots, Next, and HMV.
