David Hobbs



David has almost fifteen years of experience in all of aspects of the property retail market. He has acted on behalf of institutional landlords and developers as well as established and start-up retailers in the acquisition and disposal of unit shops in Central London and across the country. In addition to shopping centre leasing, David has strong mixed-use, retail-led development experience having acquired and developed food store and convenience stores for UK and Australian food retailers.


David started his property career at Colliers International, where he worked for over 6 years, specialising in Central London retail agency, followed by shopping centre and food store development before resigning to move to Australia. In Sydney, David worked for Woolworths Ltd, where he acquired and developed food stores across New South Wales with a focus on the Sydney metro area. David is a member of the RICS and a property alumnus from The University of Reading.


David enjoys many sports and, in particular, hockey, tennis and football. He’s a keen follower of Aussie Rules Football and struggles with the burden of being a life-long Nottingham Forest supporter.
